The scoreboard
that appears after each hole
shows the number of strokes you've
taken so far in the game; this
number is the basis for your
final score, which is calculated
as follows: For each hole, you
get 300 points minus 30 points
for each stroke you took to complete
the hole. So if you get a hole-in-one,
you'll get 270 points for the
hole. If you take five strokes,
you'll get 150 points for the
hole.
If you take ten strokes, you'll
get 0 points for the hole.
If you quit the game before
completing all nine holes,
you get 0 points for each uncompleted
hole.
If you achieved par on every
hole, your score for the game
would be 1860.
